A French-Inspired Home, Brought to Life Through Art

One of the most rewarding parts of our work is helping clients create homes that feel deeply personal. Recently, we had the opportunity to collaborate with a wonderful client on her newly completed French-inspired residence alongside Chloe Legras and the team at Boxwood Avenue.

Art: Warren Roher

Chloe created a beautiful foundation for the project. The interiors felt timeless, layered, and refined, offering the perfect backdrop for an art collection to take shape. Just as exciting was working with a client who had a strong eye and genuine enthusiasm for collecting. She approached the process with curiosity and confidence, making each selection feel intentional.

The collection began with a large textile work by Caroline Wright, which immediately captured the client’s attention. Rich in texture and color, the tapestry became an anchor for the home and set the tone for the collection.

Additional selections included a contemporary installation by Ani Bradberry, an abstract landscape by Warren Rohrer, and a floral abstract by Caroline Wright. One of Philadelphia’s leading abstract painters of the late twentieth century, Rohrer developed a poetic visual language that balanced nature and abstraction. His work feels expressive yet contemplative, making it a natural fit within the home’s European-inspired interiors.

The result is what we hope every project achieves: a happy client, a beautiful home, and a collector inspired to continue learning, living with, and enjoying art. We were especially excited to see the completed project recently featured in Rue Magazine, a testament to the thoughtful collaboration between the homeowner, Boxwood Interiors, and the artists whose work now fills the home with beauty and meaning.
